The most important factor towards how I price a tattoo is how it aligns with your budget!

I pride myself on making my tattoos affordable and accessible to as many people as I can. That said, I also need to sustain a living for myself.

I am so happy to discuss your budget and tattoo options, helping to provide you with something equally phenomenal and affordable!

Design

The design of a tattoo has the most influence on pricing.

Complexity:

Simple designs with minimal detail typically cost less than complex artwork with lots of shading and intricate detail.

Custom Artwork:

No extra charge is given for flash pieces and personally outsourced designs. However, if you are looking for a personalized, custom design, a commission of 30% will be added to the final cost of the tattoo. This is for the extra time I spend conceptualizing, designing and illustrating the perfect design for you!

Colours:

Designs involving multiple different colours typically require more skill and time to perform than the average black and white tattoo. This potentially increases the price depending on the colours involved.

Size

The physical size of a design has an influence on the overall price of a tattoo.

Larger tattoos take more time, patience and supplies to perform.

The price, however, is not measured in dollars to centimeters, and is largely skewed by other factors.

The size of a tattoo is incredibly important to the readability of many designs, so it is rarely a good idea to cut back on size in favor of detail.

Placement

Pricing may vary depending on which body part you choose to get your tattoo.

Some areas such as the hands, feet or ribs may be priced slightly higher as they can be more sensitive or challenging to tattoo.

Personal Circumstances

Tattoo prices can vary based on the geographical location of the tattoo studio I am working in at the time of our appointment.

In some areas, with a more expensive cost of living, tattoo prices may be higher.

This is influenced by how much it is costing me to work there, the quality and accessibility of supplies I need, the cost of my commute and affording to sustain a living.
